October Vision #2

"October Vision #2" is an abstract painting with a vibrant and dynamic composition. The impressionist-style artwork features a variety of colors of an early autumn landscape as seen through the art studio window. The colors - blue (sky), green (grass), yellow (leaves), white (clouds), tan (pavement), and orange (leaves)- are blended and layered using a palette knife technique to create a sense of movement and depth. The "brushstrokes" are visible and varied, contributing to the impasto-textured surface and aliveness of the painting. This is the second in a two-part painting series.
