Fractured Flowers Collection

The Fractured Flowers Collection is unique in its use of splintering, or fracturing, images to create abstract paintings that focus on form, motion, and the interplay of solid, often stark colors of the negative space with the often multilayered and colorful shapes in the positive spaces of the composition. The result of “carving” or “sculpting" the forms and lines gives a floating perspective to the organic, stylized botanical shapes. The artwork in this collection uses exaggerated colors, patterns, and forms to move away from any sense of realism into paintings that are playful and imaginative. This signature series is a modern interpretation of botanical paintings.
